((I have that fear a lot here on tumblr but on dA which was the first site I ever roleplayed on through the notes system, I was dropped pretty hard by two people I roleplayed with a lot who became partners after I introduced them, which only made it hurt worse. I didn’t really roleplay much after that since I was so terrified of becoming friends with another person only to be dumped yet again until I met my absolute best friend Kim.

She’s the one who roleplayed with me constantly be they short little ones or massive lit rps where we had what we called text battles where we tried to outdo the other in post length which only made the rp better. She lives several states away from me but luckily we lived in the same time zone. I had the extreme pleasure of meeting her in real life and I feel like she is my sister now. She is the one who is slowly yet surely helping me lose my fear that everyone will constantly drop me for someone new or better.

So far I have been lucky to find a few here on tumblr who’ve picked up on me a bit though to date I’ve had more dropped rps then continued ones but I just have to fight through the tough spots until I find that bunch that just sticks to me like glue c: ))
